About Legacy Art
Welcome to Legacy Art Academy
At Legacy Art Academy, we believe art is more than learning how to draw or paint — it is a journey into discovering the True, the Good, and the Beautiful through classical art and art history. Our mission is to help children, families, and lifelong learners grow in creativity, wisdom, virtue, and wonder while making art easy and accessible for everyone. Through engaging lessons and meaningful studies, students will learn to see beauty deeply, think thoughtfully, and create confidently using the seven elements of art as the foundation for understanding both classical and modern works of art.
Legacy Art Academy is designed to be a resource for homeschool families, kids and adults seeking further art education, and anyone looking for enriching family-friendly learning. We begin by guiding students through the seven elements of art — line, shape, form, value, color, texture, and space — helping them understand how these foundational tools are used in every masterpiece throughout history. The first three lessons will be available free so families can experience the joy and richness of classical art education before joining through an affordable monthly membership that provides full access to our growing library of lessons and studies.
Students can expect to explore great moments in history such as Ancient Greece and Rome, the Renaissance, Gothic architecture, and the lives and works of famous artists throughout time. Through these studies, we will not only strengthen artistic skills, but also focus on cultivating virtues such as wisdom, courage, temperance, wonder, justice, and compassion. At Legacy Art Academy, we seek to improve the mind, grow the heart, and inspire a lifelong love of learning through the beauty and wonder of art.
